1993

Focused on sublimation printing, CR&A Apparel, Inc. launches out of a spare bedroom in San Gabriel, California. 

1994

Moves to the basement of a shopping center in Downtown LA.

1995

Moves into warehouse space on 29th Street.

1995

Purchases its first embroidery machine.   

1996

Moves to Main Street near USC.

1998

Establishes a design department.

1998

Purchases two small printers.

2001

Re-engineers the Car Flag Stand for the U.S. flag in conjunction with 9/11.  

2002

Purchases its first HP SCITEX printer.

2005

CR&A shifts from sublimation printing to large-format printing. 

2006

The first TurboJet UV printer of its kind in the world makes its debut at CR&A.

2006

CR&A’s first large-format print job in Puerto Rico.

2007

Named Minority Business Manufacturer of the Year by US Department of Commerce.

2009

CR&A buys the building at Pico and Olive St in DTLA. 

2009

Named Rising Star by NAWBO/LA.

2009

Named National LBWA Manufacturer and Distributor of the Year.

2010

Featured on Fox News nationally.

2011

CR&A purchases its first HP large-format flat-bed printer.

2013

Becomes first U.S. printer to have the new HP 3000 latex large-format printer.

2013

Wins the Innovation Award from the Latino Business Chamber of LA.

2018

Becomes first west coast printer to install the new HP Latex R2000 Plus printer.

 2022

Earns WBENC, WOSB denominations, the gold standard in women-owned business certifications.

2023

Founder and president Carmen Rad is inducted into the NAWBO-LA Hall of Fame.

2023

Adds Durst P5 350 HS printer to its printing arsenal.
