On December 8, 2023, CR&A Custom celebrated its 30th anniversary. The event was a success filled with fun and excitement that grabbed a deserved dose of media attention. Here are some of the highlights.
The Celebration
From working out of a spare room in San Gabriel to creating work that has been displayed at world-class events and venues such as the Super Bowl and the Crypto.com Arena, CR&A Custom’s journey deserves a grand celebration, and that’s exactly what the company did.
The gala event was held at the company’s Los Angeles headquarters at 312 West Pico Boulevard, was attended by local elected officials, business leaders, Los Angeles Business Chamber leadership, Los Angeles Latino Chamber of Commerce leadership, and artists, along with current and past clients.
Reflecting on Three Decades of Success
The company’s 30th anniversary prompted some reflections from Carmen Rad, its owner and president.
“Thirty years ago working out of my bedroom I would never had imagined this journey, I was honestly just trying to survive. There was no vision or business plan, and many mistakes were made along the way. I faced lots of obstacles and still do,” Carmen explained.
“We work in a male-dominated field and we’re constantly having to prove ourselves again to validate our capabilities. Going back to School at 40 was a game changer and we grew 19 percent that year. I strongly believe in educating oneself and still attend seminars and webinars, I believe one can always learn a new way of doing things,” she added.
